PKR96 Responsible Gaming – Play Smart, Stay in Control

Gaming on PKR96 is meant to be an enjoyable pastime — not a way to earn money or escape from stress. This page explains the tools available to help you keep your gaming under control, spot warning signs early and get back on track if things ever feel off.

Gaming Should Always Feel Like a Choice

At PKR96, we take responsible gaming seriously. Whether you are placing a bet on a PSL T20 match, trying your luck in the bingo rooms or spinning slots during your evening, gaming should always feel like an enjoyable activity you are fully in control of — not something that causes anxiety, financial strain or conflict at home.

The tools on this page are available to every registered PKR96 player at no cost and with no penalty. You do not need a special reason to use them. Setting a deposit limit or taking a break is simply a sensible thing to do, and we make it as easy as possible.

Before we go into the tools, it helps to understand the basic principle: gaming should be funded from money you can comfortably afford to lose. It should not be funded from household expenses, savings, borrowed money or emergency funds. If a losing session leaves you feeling genuinely stressed rather than mildly disappointed, that is worth paying attention to.

Remember: Winning is never guaranteed on any game or bet. The house edge and random outcomes mean that over any extended period, losing is the more likely result. The entertainment value is in the playing — not the expectation of profit.

This is true whether you are following Pakistan's cricket team in an international series, tracking PSL standings, or just unwinding with a quick bingo session. Keep it fun, keep it budgeted, and you will always walk away feeling fine.

Healthy Gaming Habits — A Quick Checklist

  • Set a weekly gaming budget and stick to it, win or lose
  • Never chase a loss — if a session goes badly, stop and step away
  • Use deposit limits to cap how much you can put in during a set period
  • Take regular breaks — a short walk or change of activity resets your mindset
  • Do not play while tired, stressed or under the influence of alcohol
  • Keep gaming separate from bill money, rent and family expenses
  • Tell someone you trust how much time and money you spend on gaming
  • If a game feels compulsive rather than enjoyable, stop and use the break tools

Tools to Keep You in Control

All four tools below are available in your PKR96 account settings. They are free, instant to apply and require no explanation or justification.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit per day, week or month — in PKR. Once a limit is active, any deposit attempt above the cap is blocked automatically. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit requires a cooling-off period before it becomes active.

How to set it:

  1. Log in and go to Account Settings
  2. Select "Responsible Gaming" from the menu
  3. Choose "Deposit Limits" and enter your preferred daily, weekly or monthly cap
  4. Confirm — the limit is active immediately

Session Time Reminders

Set a time limit for each gaming session. When you reach the time you have set, a reminder appears on screen showing how long you have been playing and a summary of your session activity. The reminder is a prompt to pause and decide whether to continue — it does not force a logout.

How to set it:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming
  2. Select "Session Reminders"
  3. Choose how long before a reminder appears (e.g. 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours)
  4. Save — the reminder will activate on your next login

Cooling-Off Period

Need a short break without committing to a full self-exclusion? A cooling-off period temporarily blocks access to your account for a set number of days — between 1 and 42 days. During a cooling-off period you cannot log in, deposit or place bets. The block cannot be lifted early once applied.

How to set it:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming
  2. Select "Take a Break"
  3. Choose the duration (1 day up to 42 days)
  4. Confirm — the block is applied to your account immediately

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a longer-term option for players who want a more significant break. You can self-exclude for 6 months, 1 year or permanently. During self-exclusion the account is fully locked — login, deposits, withdrawals and any new account registrations from the same person are blocked. Any existing balance at the time of self-exclusion can be withdrawn before the block fully activates.

How to request it:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclusion
  2. Choose your exclusion period
  3. Confirm — or email [email protected] with "Self-Exclusion Request" in the subject
  4. The account is locked promptly after confirmation

Reality Check Notifications

When Reality Check is enabled, a notification pops up at your chosen interval — every 15, 30 or 60 minutes — showing you a live summary of your current session: how long you have been playing, how much you have deposited in the session and your net win or loss position. It is a simple but effective way to keep perspective when you are in the middle of an exciting PSL betting session or a long bingo session and time starts to blur. It does not interrupt gameplay — it just keeps the facts visible. Find it under Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Reality Check.

Six Principles Behind Responsible Gaming

Budget First, Always

Every session should start with a clear budget set in PKR — an amount you are genuinely comfortable losing completely. Decide the number before you log in, not after. Whether you are betting on a T20 match or spinning slots, your budget is your only protection against a session going further than it should.

Never Chase a Loss

The most common mistake players make is trying to win back a loss with a bigger bet. The mathematics of gaming do not work that way — each bet is independent of the last. If your session budget is gone, log out. Come back another time with a fresh budget, a clear head and no emotional attachment to a previous session's result.

Keep Family in the Picture

If you feel the need to hide your gaming from family members, that is one of the clearest signs that it has become a problem. Healthy gaming is something you can mention openly without embarrassment. Consider sharing your deposit limits with someone at home who can help keep you accountable.

Keep Devices Secure from Minors

If you share a phone, tablet or computer with younger family members, make sure your PKR96 account is always logged out after each session. Do not store your login credentials in a shared browser. PKR96 is strictly an 18+ platform and it is every adult player's responsibility to prevent minors from accessing their account.

Play for Enjoyment, Not Escape

Gaming works best when you are in a neutral, relaxed state. If you find yourself logging in because you are stressed, anxious, bored or trying to block out problems, stop and address the root cause instead. Using gaming as an emotional escape is one of the early patterns that can lead to problem gaming behaviour over time.

Keep Gaming in Its Place

Gaming should be one of many leisure activities in your life — not the main one. If you notice that gaming is regularly replacing other things you used to enjoy, such as time with family, following cricket in person, exercise or social plans, it is worth stepping back and rebalancing. Use the cooling-off tools to create intentional gaps.

Are These Questions Familiar?

If you find yourself answering "yes" to several of the questions below, it may be worth taking a break, talking to someone you trust or using one of the account control tools. There is no judgement — recognising a pattern early makes it much easier to address.

1
Have you ever spent more on gaming than you originally planned for that session?
2
Have you borrowed money or used bill funds to deposit on PKR96 or any other platform?
3
Do you feel restless, irritable or distracted when you are not able to access the platform?
4
Have you tried to win back a loss by immediately depositing and playing again?
5
Has anyone at home expressed concern about how much time or money you spend on gaming?
6
Do you find it difficult to stop playing once you have started, even when you intended to play for only a short time?
7
Do you think about gaming frequently when you are doing other things — at work, during meals, or during family time?

What to Do If You Need Help

If the self-check above raised concerns, here are the practical steps to take right now — in order of urgency.

1
Apply a Deposit Limit Today

Log into your PKR96 account, go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming and set a weekly deposit limit in PKR that reflects what you can genuinely afford. Do this now, before your next session.

2
Take a Cooling-Off Break

Use the cooling-off tool to block access for a week or two. A short, enforced gap can interrupt an unhealthy pattern and give you time to reassess without the platform being available as a temptation.

3
Talk to Someone You Trust

A trusted family member or close friend can provide accountability and perspective. You do not need to have all the answers — just being honest about the situation out loud often helps clarify what needs to change.

4
Request Self-Exclusion

If things feel out of control, self-exclusion is the right step. Email [email protected] with "Self-Exclusion Request" in the subject line. The support team will process your request promptly and your account will be fully locked.

Important: PKR96 support staff are not trained counsellors. If gaming has caused serious financial or personal harm, please speak to a qualified professional or a family member with relevant experience. Our team can lock your account and assist with withdrawal of any remaining balance, but personal counselling is beyond our scope.

Responsible Gaming FAQ

Yes. Reducing a deposit limit takes effect immediately as soon as you save the change in Account Settings. You do not need to contact support. This is intentional — if you decide you need a lower limit, that decision should be acted on right away without any delay or friction.

No. Increases to deposit limits require a mandatory cooling-off period before they become active. This is by design — it prevents a moment of impulse from immediately undoing a protective limit. If you reduce your limit and then change your mind, the increase will only take effect after the waiting period has passed.

Yes. When you request self-exclusion, you will be prompted to withdraw any available balance before the account lock is fully applied. If you have a balance remaining after exclusion is applied, contact support at [email protected] and the team will process the withdrawal for you to your registered payment method — JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast or bank account as applicable.

PKR96 uses the identity details from your original registration to block new accounts created by the same person during an active self-exclusion period. Attempting to create a new account to bypass a self-exclusion goes against the Terms and Conditions and both accounts will be closed if identified. Self-exclusion only works if you respect the intent behind it.

Yes. All responsible gaming tools — deposit limits, session reminders, cooling-off, self-exclusion and reality check — are accessible through the same Account Settings menu in the PKR96 mobile app. Changes made on the app apply to your account across all devices, including the website. You can also request self-exclusion by emailing support regardless of which device you are using.

If you are genuinely concerned about a family member's gaming on PKR96, the most direct step is to speak with them openly and honestly about what you have observed. Encourage them to use the self-exclusion or cooling-off tools available in their account. You can also contact PKR96 support at [email protected] with your concerns — while our team cannot discuss or access another person's account details with you, we can provide guidance on the steps available and escalate welfare concerns internally where appropriate.
